2. Purpose of the data processing

The processing of your data has the following purposes:

A. Provision of the service

Your data will be processed to: (i) process your registration as a user / client; (ii) provide the services in accordance with its Terms and Conditions (iii) process and respond to your queries or claims.

B. Sending offers and promotions of EUK products and services

In case you give your consent, EUK may send you through any electronic or non-electronic channel commercial information related to the provision, improvement and updating of our products and services, new rates and discounts.

This commercial information may be generic or personalized. In the latter case, it will involve the prior treatment of your data in order to be able to proceed with their profiling and characterization, determine tastes, preferences and needs and, based on these, identify the offers that may be most interesting.

Likewise, in all electronic commercial communication, you will be informed, again, of your right to revoke your consent.

C. Sending offers and promotions from other EUK companies and third party companies

In case you give your consent, EUK may send you through any electronic or non-electronic channel offers and promotions of:

  • Other companies of the EUK Group that provide services related to the sectors of: that belong to the activities of parcel services, value added to the postal service, logistics, marketing and telecommunications.
  • Other companies with which EUK has signed different collaboration agreements and that may belong to sectors such as telecommunications, finance, consumer goods, health and NGOs.

This commercial information may be generic or personalized. In case you give your consent, EUK may obtain more information about your characteristics, tastes and needs through the information provided by different external sources such as Public Registries, Social Networks, Geomarketing tools, information databases with the aim of introducing improvements in our products and services and / or adapting or choosing the offers of such products and services that best suit your specific profile.

F. Comply with legal obligations

Among the different legal obligations assumed by EUK are those derived from the application of postal regulations and the duty of secrecy of communications as well as tax regulations.

In compliance with these obligations, EUK may communicate your data to Public Administrations and courts, provided that such information is required in accordance with established legal processes.

G. Statistical information and satisfaction surveys

EUK has a legitimate interest in knowing both the opinion of its clients regarding its products and services and their consumption habits (e.g. the frequency / recurrence of contracting the different services) in order to be able to offer products and services more tailored to your needs and improve both current products and services and your contracting process.

To achieve the objective set forth in the previous paragraph, EUK may process your data and:

  • Carry out satisfaction surveys both by telephone and by electronic means, even once you are no longer a customer, in the latter case to find out the reasons for your departure.
  • In the event that during the satisfaction survey the customer expresses his opinion about the products and services of any of the EUK companies, the result of the survey and the participant's identification data may be communicated to the EUK company whose services are valued .
  • Proceed with anonymization, so that the information on your consumption habits cannot be linked to you and, after that, carry out statistical and econometric studies (e.g. know the customer's life cycle and / or identify models of propensity to abandon).​

 

3. Type of data processed

For the purposes set out in the previous section, a set of personal data is processed that we can divide into the following sources and categories:

A. Data provided by the customer directly:

At the time of registration and / or at the service request itself, through the completion of the forms provided for this purpose.

The client guarantees that the data provided to EUK for the provision of the requested services respond truthfully to the real situation and that it will communicate any modification that affects them. Consequently, the client will be liable to EUK and third parties for any damages or losses caused as a consequence of the breach of the obligations assumed in this clause.

B. Data collected indirectly:

All those data that, in case of having been given consent, EUK collects from the typology of external sources listed in purpose 2.E.

C. Data derived from the provision of the service itself:

Including information such as the history of contracted products and services and their characteristics, claims or requests for information ...

4. Data retention period

Your personal data will be kept as long as it is necessary for the development of the contractual relationship. After this period, the data will be deleted in accordance with the provisions of the data protection regulations, which implies its blocking, being available only at the request of Judges and courts, the Prosecutor's Office or the competent Public Administrations during the limitation period of the actions that could derive to be subsequently eliminated. The statutes of limitations vary depending on the type of service, for exemplary purposes, in general the statute of limitations of most personal civil actions is 5 years.

Likewise, EUK will proceed to block those clients who are inactive for a period of 5 years. Those users registered in the EUK Attic, but who do not have any storage service or custody contracted for more than 5 years, will be considered as an inactive client.

5. Your Rights

Our data protection regulations give you a series of rights in relation to the data processing that our services imply, which can be summarized as follows:

  • Right of access: Know what type of data we are treating and the characteristics of the processing we are carrying out.
  • Right of rectification: To be able to request the modification of your data because they are inaccurate or not truthful.
  • Portability right: To be able to obtain a copy in an interoperable format of the data that is being processed.
  • Right to limitation of the processing as provided by Law.
  • Right of deletion: Request the deletion of your data when our storage of such is no longer necessary.
  • Right of opposition: Request the cessation of the sending of commercial communications in the terms indicated above.
  • Right to revoke the consent given.

6. Access to third party data

For the provision of certain services, it may be necessary to provide us with the personal and contact information of third parties, such as the name, surname, postal address, email address, contact telephone number and other data or equivalent means. of the recipient of a communication or shipment.

EUK will exclusively process this data to proceed with the delivery of the communication or the shipment. Additionally, in order to better provide the service, the telephone number or email address may be used in order to inform the recipient of the estimated delivery dates and deal with any incident that may affect it.

In this sense, the client guarantees the veracity and updating of the recipient's data and, where appropriate, ensures that they have fulfilled all those obligations that, in terms of data protection, are attributable to them, having obtained the consent of the recipient that EUK carry out the treatment set forth in the preceding paragraphs, if such consent is necessary.

For its part, in the event that the user is a company or professional that allows EUK access to personal data under their responsibility for the provision of any of our services, EUK undertakes to fulfil all the obligations inherent in its position as data processor and, in this sense:

* You will access and process the data to which you have access subject to your instructions, not using them for purposes other than the provision of the service. For this, it may have the services of other third parties (sub-managers), if it is necessary for the provision of the service and operations of the contract and / or for its preservation and provided that (i) the new manager is subject to the same conditions (instructions , obligations, security measures ) and with the same formal requirements as him, regarding the adequate treatment of personal data and the guarantee of the rights of the people affected; (ii) EUK, at the express request, make available a list identifying the sub-manager services and the identity of the sub-managers; (iii) In the event of default by the sub-manager, EUK remains fully responsible.

* It will implement the appropriate legal, technical and organizational security measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk, in accordance with the provisions of art. 32 of the GDPR and, upon request, will inform you of the risk analysis methodology used.

* Once the contractual provision has been fulfilled, it will destroy or return the data processed, as well as any media or documents containing data subject to treatment, without prejudice to the possibility of keeping these data, duly blocked, in the terms provided by our data protection regulations.

* It will ensure compliance with the rest of the obligations contained in the data protection regulations.
